Abstract

It discusses the feminine authorship in the cordel leaflets and their unfoldings for the field of memory in the scope of Information Science, which already had the leaflet as an object of study through various approaches. It understands that the exclusion of women from social and cultural memory through official historiography makes memory as a field of contention. It considers that the idea of being produced by a "popular culture" based on orality, ends up reinforcing this exclusion and invisibility, since in historiography this culture is placed as subaltern. From a literature review on the subject, it seeks to collaborate in proposing new reflections on the field of memory and Information Science, starting from critical studies about the booklet, highlighting and bringing the work of several stringers.
