Abstract

The aim of this paper is to investigate the use of two brazilian electronic information resources (blogs and mailing lists) in BCI produced in Brazil. For this, we defined the research universe, composed of faculty Librarianship country, to determine, from the viewpoint of information theory, the scientific and academic process in the virtual environment to digital. Presents some theoretical approaches covered in the review of literature on the informational process in the technological age and educational and informational sources on the Brazilian electronic addressed in this study, showing the importance of these sources in academia. To investigate the extent of use, it was found that these sources have a small use by teachers, pointing out the main causes of the negative result. Finally, it was pointed out some thoughts on the educator and electronic informational sources in the educational process.
