Abstract
The present study assembles elements that constitute a graphical visualization of the academic production of the Course Completion Works (TCC) of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) and the Postgraduate Program in Communication Theses and Dissertations. and Information (PPGCOM), whose advisors are linked to the Department of Information Science (DCI) of UFRGS. By analyzing associated keywords, it identifies the relevance of the topics addressed in the research of both courses, through the visualization of the undergraduate and graduate academic production. Through data collection using the WebScraper tool, the results indicated the preponderance of studies related to library typologies in undergraduate studies and studies about metric studies in postgraduate studies. It concludes that there is a tendency for research focused on the metrics of scientific communication and the use of technology as a facilitator of informational flows in relation to professional practice and library typologies.
