Abstract

The study presents the preliminary results of the mapping of Librarian writers that aims to identify the literary production of Brazilian librarians. This is a descriptive study with a qualitative and quantitative approach. The results shows that (i) 57.69% of respondents have published a book or participated in a literary anthology; (ii) 57.69% have blogs or profiles on social networks to promote their literary work and; (iii) the identified literary production mainly contemplates the typologies Poetry, Tale and Children's Literature. It is concluded that there is a literary production performed by librarians, and there is a need for continuity of mapping in order to enable future studies on the characteristics of this production.
