Abstract
This study aims to answer LGBT+ community information needs, focusing on the areas of education, specifically educational qualification, and personal care, considering, in both cases, free or low cost classes and activities. For this, it broaches the concept of information literacy, its development process and its importance in the interaction of individual with information sources. The organization of information and the available resources in the information sources are described and evaluations of each one are presented, from the analysis of quality criteria disseminated in Information Science. It is observed that the source about educational qualification fully answer these criteria, while the source about personal care has some points of improvement. In addition, other online information sources also are listed in the article.
