Abstract

This article aims to investigate the recent and relevant studies on the use of procedures bibliometrics and sociometry in the review surveys, and to describe the main tools and software used for the execution of these research techniques in Brazil and in the world. This work is a descriptive, quantitative and bibliographic review. For the construction of this study the methodologies of bibliometry and sociometry were used. The results proved the efficiency of several software, specifically Citespace, VOSviewer and UCINET in the construction of bibliometric and sociometric surveys. It is concluded that there is a range of software to assist in the execution of academic work. Entrepreneurial researchers use these technological tools efficiently and effectively, making their work models of research innovation.
