Abstract
This article deals with the conception of a service based on technology so that the library mediates the exchange of knowledge among its interactors. It aims to propose a prototype of a knowledge exchange platform adapted for libraries. As a methodology, a bibliographic research was used in books and periodicals with publication date from the year 2000. The subjects researched helped to base and develop the prototype presented in chapter 5. The technology used was the Sharetribe platform, available in Internet. As a result it has been realized that the need for library interactors goes far beyond using books and computers. Traditional libraries need to reinvent themselves to suit this most demanding new audience. The Bibliomarketplace platform can add value to a library and attract more audience to this information unit.
